After some exclusivity on the PS4 and not being able to find my beta code, I finally got my hands on the Multiplayer Beta for the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 on the Xbox One Continue reading “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Multiplayer Beta Early Impressions”
Star Trek Diaries #5 – Star Trek: Episode 5 “The Naked Time”
Everything should be back to normal outside of the usual start-of-series jitters that the crew needs to work out… let’s hope I don’t spend half the episode ranting about the color of shirts. Continue reading “Star Trek Diaries #5 – Star Trek: Episode 5 “The Naked Time””
Madden NFL 16 “Draft Champions” Impressions
Thanks to EA’s marvelous “Access” program on the Xbox One, I was able to sample Madden NFL 16 for a precious 10 hours this weekend (before it’s official release tomorrow, August 25th). I spent every last second of that 10 hours with Draft Champions Continue reading “Madden NFL 16 “Draft Champions” Impressions”
Star Trek Diaries #4 – Star Trek: Episode 4 “Where No Man Has Gone Before”
The 2nd pilot of the show, the one that actually got picked up, is for some reason the 3rd to be aired… it’s weird, but that’s kind of what Star Trek is all about… Let’s see how jacked up the timeline already is! Continue reading “Star Trek Diaries #4 – Star Trek: Episode 4 “Where No Man Has Gone Before””
Carly Rae Jepsen “Emotion” Review
Another month, another pop album. Carly Rae Jepsen’s sophomore effort probably won’t evolve Bubble-Gum Pop (One of the most underrated music sub-genres) into some new Renaissance, but let’s hope its not a complete step down from 2012’s superb Kiss. Continue reading “Carly Rae Jepsen “Emotion” Review”
Star Trek Diaries #3 – Star Trek: Episode 3 “Charlie X”
Every time I try to watch The Original Series, I always end up getting stopped at Charlie X… not sure why that is, maybe this diary entry will get to the bottom of it. Continue reading “Star Trek Diaries #3 – Star Trek: Episode 3 “Charlie X””
Star Trek Diaries #2 – Star Trek: Episode 2 “The Man Trap”
All the familiar faces are finally here. Kirk, Bones, Uhura, Sulu, Yeoman Rand! So, let’s jump into the first proper episode of Star Trek, “The Man Trap”! Continue reading “Star Trek Diaries #2 – Star Trek: Episode 2 “The Man Trap””
DJ Obama Dropping the Dopest Beats of the Summer
What a time to be alive! Thanks to social media like Twitter and Instagram, famous and non-famous people alike are much more transparent. Back in the dark ages of the 1990’s, if I wanted to know what Alicia Silverstone’s favorite album was, I’d have to hope some interviewer asked her that question or I’d have to fork over 10 bucks at a book store (think Amazon but with walls) for her unofficial biography! Continue reading “DJ Obama Dropping the Dopest Beats of the Summer”
Star Trek Diaries #1 – Star Trek: Episode 1 “The Cage”
(Editor’s Note: This was previously posted on my tumblr page and is being put here because I’m going to resurrect the series in the coming weeks and would like to have all of the diaries in one place. There are a few more of these that will pop up randomly before then (not in place of brand new writing). This was originally posted on January 17th, 2015.)
So this is a dumb little adventure I opted to start today. Basically, I’ll be going through the history of Star Trek on Netflix and writing a little blurb about each one. Continue reading “Star Trek Diaries #1 – Star Trek: Episode 1 “The Cage””
That’s So Jets
The New York Jets have made headlines before playing a single snap in 2015 (something that never happens for the right reasons). Earlier in the week, an argument in the locker room led to franchise Quarterback Geno Smith getting punched square in the jaw by teammate IK Enemkpali (a linebacker). Apparently the squabble started because Smith owed Enemkpali $600. Continue reading “That’s So Jets”
